CO2 and Multigas Incubators for Precise Cell Culture Reproducibility

Cell-IQ™ and CytoGrow Incubators

The complete PHCbi CO2 and multigas (CO2/O2) incubator family includes two product lines designed for precision, uniformity and repeatability of conditions that replicate the in vivo environment in an in vitro setting.

Cell-IQ incubators use high-performance dual wavelength infrared (IR) detectors to measure CO2 concentration, CytoGrow incubators use either a thermal conductivity sensor or a single  IR sensor, depending on model.

Biomedical Incubator Equipment for Cell Culture Needs

CO2 and multigas incubators from PHC include benchtop, stackable and reach-in models in a variety of sizes to meet a wide range of culture conditions, space needs and decontamination methods. Our incubators are ideal for a variety of applications, including:

  • Medical
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Biotech
  • Government research
  • Clinical
  • cGMP
  • IVF processes (select models only)

Cell Culture Equipment that Guards Against Contamination

Standard Contamination Control

PHCbi cell culture incubators include both standard passive contamination control and a variety of active control methods. Passive decontamination is achieved as a background process in all incubator models through innovative inCu-saFe® interiors. PHCbi's inCu-saFe design feature is a copper-enriched stainless steel alloy that combines the germicidal properties of elemental copper with the corrosion and discoloration resistance of stainless steel.

Optional Contamination Control

Available as a standard feature on select Cell-IQ and CytoGrow models, the active SafeCell™ UV lamp decontaminates chamber air and surfaces without compromising cultured cell viability. Additional active contamination control methods include a dry heat decontamination cycle on the new Cell-IQ Series Dry Heat Incubator or the vaporized hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) cycle, available on select Cell-IQ models.
