But advances in modern technology are truly advancing plant-based therapeutics for applications in medicine today for a variety of diseases. In this installment of Teach Me in 10, Dr Hefferon talks us through the concept of plant-based therapeutics and focuses specifically on her research exploring plant-based vaccines for COVID-19.
