Inside the Tech Note: The Story Behind the Data

Ian has been with SCIEX for more than 10 years. He started as part of the development team on multiple products, including the QTRAP 6500+ LC-MS/MS System and DiscoveryQuant™ Software. After spending time as the Technical Marketing Manager for Pharma Quant and Met ID solutions, Ian joined the nominal mass product management team where he has played a key role in the launch of the SCIEX Triple Quad 5500+ System – QTRAP Ready, and the SCIEX 7500 System.

Lakshmanan is a mass spectrometry specialist with 9 years of experience, including 5 years at SCIEX, an industry leader in mass spectrometry solutions. He began his career in the CRO field and later transitioned into technical marketing, working with nominal and high-resolution mass spectrometers. In addition to authoring 17 scientific publications, his role at SCIEX involves method development, customer troubleshooting, and training clients on using our cutting-edge equipment. He is passionate about advancing knowledge in this field and empowering others to achieve their research goals.

Eshani holds a doctorate degree from the University of California, Davis in Analytical Chemistry, where she developed mass spectrometry based methods to study carbohydrate structures and functions in gut health. Following her academic years, Eshani was part of biopharmaceutical and CRO companies where she led LC-MS method development for bioanalysis of small and large molecules. Eshani is currently a Global Technical Marketing Lead at SCIEX. She focuses on providing solutions to analytical challenges for biopharma quantitation and pharma applications by employing the latest mass spectrometry technologies.
