mRNA Vaccine Approvals for COVID-19
mRNA vaccines are a new type of vaccine to protect against mutating infectious diseases. By giving instructions in the form of (mRNA) to our cells, signaling them to make the “spike protein” found on the surface of COVID-19. Cells then recognize the protein as foreign and begin building an immune response, teaching the body how to protect against future infection.
In this cell and gene therapy insights expert roundtable, a panel of four experts will answer some central questions surrounding the development of novel biotherapeutics.
