Duc Duong graduated from Emory University with a BS degree in computer science and started proteomics research as a programmer, developing algorithms for extensive data processing and peptide/protein quantification. He switched over to LC-MS/MS method development over 20 years ago and currently runs the Emory Proteomics Core, collaborating with researchers in the Center for Neurodegenerative Disease and throughout the Emory University community. Recently, he has co-founded an Alzheimer’s Disease diagnostic company (Emtherapro) and a proteomics contract research organization (ARC Proteomics).
