Biomedical laboratories are under increasing pressure to produce meaningful data from minute amounts of sample. In this webinar, we’ll explore how a micro-scale separation technique, capillary electrophoresis-mass spectrometry (CE-MS), can be used for the highly efficient and sensitive profiling of nucleotides from a low number of mammalian cells.
Endogenous nucleotides can be detected in extracts as low as 500 HepG2 cells. In a research study discussed in this webinar, an injection volume of 6.5 nL resulted in sub-nanomolar detection limits for nucleotides, clearly illustrating the utility of this technique for metabolic profiling in low amounts of biological material.
