Mass Spectrometry: From Imaging to Metabolic Networks
We show that network analysis of co-localized ions from mass spectrometry imaging data provides a detailed chemo-spatial insight into the metabolic heterogeneity of tumors. Furthermore, module preservation analysis between colorectal cancer patients with and without metastatic recurrence suggests hypotheses on the nature of the different local metabolic pathways.

T-helper cell phenotype expression in cutaneous lesions of angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma
Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) is a common type of peripheral T-cell lymphoma. AITL can be missed until lymphadenopathy develops in patients initially presenting with skin lesions, as skin biopsy may lack conclusive findings. Our case highlights the extranodal presentation of AITL with cutaneous lesions displaying the TFH phenotype.

Novel Role of the Innate Immune DNA Sensor IFI16 (Interferon Gamma Inducible Protein 16) as a Major Epigenetic Modulator During KSHV Infection and Lytic Reactivation
Studies have shown that IFI16 acts as an antiviral restriction factor against a number of DNA viruses, by inhibiting viral replication or transcription through epigenetic modifications. However, till date, no specific epigenetic function of IFI16 has been identified. Here, we have discovered that IFI16 recruits two histone methyltransferases on the KSHV episome leading to altered Histone H3K9 methylation, thus regulating its lifecycle.

Liver Transplantation for Hepatocellular Carcinoma Outperform Other Populations in the New Hepatitis C Era
Long term results of HCC liver transplants (LTx) in the recent era of direct-acting antivirals (DAA) against hepatitis C (HCV) are not available. We aimed to examine the access, treatments and cure rates with DAA’s utilized in HCC LTx with HCV. Secondarily, we aimed to determine the long term impact of the Liver Cancer Program and DAA therapies on survival of HCC LTx.

Hepatocellular Carcinoma with Small Cell Histology: A Rare Mimic of Metastatic Tumors Involving the Liver
Two cases of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with small cell histology, a rare morphologic variant of HCC, are presented.

Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) caused by thymic aplasia due to a mutation in TBX1
We report one of the first cases of TBX1 haploinsufficiency causing complete thymic aplasia and SCID.

Assessing Microenvironment Immunogenicity Using Tumor Specimen Exomes: Co-detection of TcR-α/β V(D)J Recombinations Correlates with PD-1Expression
This is the first report of any unproductive recombinations in tumor specimen exome files, indicating opportunities to identify lymphocytes in the microenvironment that could have impacts on tumor development other than via antigen presentation to T-cells. Based on α/β relative recombination rates, α recombinations are more frequent. The association of detection of alpha-beta V(D)J recombinations, with high PD-1 RNA levels and high RNA levels representing antigen presenting functions.
