CosMx™ Spatial Molecular Imager
The CosMx™ SMI delivers the most advanced in situ spatial multiomics, enabling high-plex analysis of FFPE and fresh frozen (FF) tissue samples at cellular and subcellular resolution. This powerful platform quantifies and visualizes 6,000 RNA targets (with the whole transcriptome available this year) alongside 64 validated protein analytes, using direct in-tissue detection to preserve spatial context while eliminating dissociation and amplification biases seen in scRNA-seq.
The CosMx™ SMI supports cell atlasing, tissue phenotyping, cell-cell interactions, cellular processes, and biomarker discovery. By maintaining spatial and molecular integrity, it enhances the detection of rare and unique cell types often lost in dissociation-based methods. With high-throughput, spatially resolved single-cell data in a single assay partnered with the AtoMx® Spatial Informatics Platform specifically designed to take advantage of CosMx’s industry-leading sensitivity and plex, researchers can extract deeper insights, maximizing discovery potential and experimental efficiency.
