The Vectra® Polaris™ automated quantitative pathology imaging system from PerkinElmer integrates seven-color multispectral imaging and automated slide scanning so that you can better visualize, analyze, quantify, and phenotype immune cells in situ in FFPE tissue sections and TMAs.
With multispectral imaging, you can capture the multiple interactions occurring between cells without the issue of crosstalk. That means you can have confidence in accurately quantifying the interactions that are really occurring in the biology and not worry about false positives from spectral overlap.
This capability is combined with a simplified digital pathology workflow to support the quantification and analysis of tissue sections that are stained with multiple immunohistochemical stains.
The results is that you can assess biomarkers that probe deeper into the cell-to-cell interactions occurring between the immune system and cancer by detecting multiple cell types and their functional states, while also determining their spatial distributions.
The Vectra Polaris imaging system is part of PerkinElmer's Phenoptics™ solution for quantitative pathology research, which includes Opal™ IHC kits for staining and inForm® software for analysis.
