Dr. Stephanie Proaño obtained her Ph.D. in neurophysiology from North Carolina State University. Throughout her doctoral and postdoctoral work, Stephanie investigated the role of biological sex and estrous cycle-dependent hormonal fluctuations on the electrophysiology of the striatum and the hippocampus. She is now developing commercial operations and scientific applications for the Cell Microsystems portfolio, including the BioFlux shear flow system.
