Introduction to Sample Preparation for Biomolecule Extraction
How To Guide May 29, 2020

A tissue sample has to be prepared prior to the analysis of its cellular and molecular components. This preparation step, known as “sample prep” reduces the complexity of the sample and enables scientists to isolate components of the sample.
There are many techniques available for sample prep and analysis and whilst most basic research laboratories use conduct manual sample prep, an increase in sample workload has resulted in a transition to automated sample preparation.
