Bio-Matrix Scientific Group Inc. has announced an update on the construction and installation of its Stem Cell Class 10,000 Processing Laboratory.

As a follow-up to the state of the facility press release, a Company spokesperson offered the following timeline to facility completion:

October 16th - Laboratory and Air controls to be installed.

October 17th – Calibration and Systems Testing of all controls to take place.

October 18th & 19th – City inspectors to conduct final review of construction and installation of class 10,000 processing laboratory.

October 23rd – Bio-Matrix anticipates starting the facility accreditation process.

Brian Pockett, Managing Director and COO, stated, "The new class 10,000 laboratory will now enter into the essential process towards full American Association of Tissue Banks accreditation."

Bio-Matrix’ 15,000 sq ft facility, located in the heart of the San Diego biotechnology corridor, will house Bio-Matrix’ secure Cryogenic Stem Cell Bank, 3 Research laboratories, aseptic cellular/tissue class 10,000/100 processing laboratory, hematology, microbiology and flow cytometry laboratories.
