DomaniCell, LLC has announced the launch of a program to establish hospital-based family cord blood collection and storage services in hospitals throughout the United States.

The program involves hospitals partnering with DomaniCell to develop their own cord blood stem cell banking program that is built on DomaniCell infrastructure and technology.

"We are very excited about the business advantages DomaniCell offers to hospital partners though our turnkey solution," states DomaniCell President Dennis Fallen.

"The response we have received to-date from discussions with hospitals across the country has been overwhelmingly positive."

The DomaniCell model provides a unique opportunity for hospitals to take increased control and ownership over a service being provided in their facilities.

The model also presents hospitals with a revenue-generating, value-added service to offer clients.

"In addition to our unique business model, there are two other features that set us apart from those in the sector," continues Mr. Fallen.

"First, in addition to having over 100 years of experience in cell, tissue, and blood banking, the people behind DomaniCell are some of the world's leading experts in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy."

"Secondly, the storage of cells through DomaniCell will be compliant with the FDA's cGMP regulations. Only cells banked in GMP compliance are permitted to be used in clinical trials."

"This level of expertise and regulatory compliance," concludes Mr. Fallen, "fits well with hospitals that want to ensure they are maximizing the potential clinical benefit of the cells they are banking on behalf of donating parents."
