The Automation Partnership (TAP) has announced that it will be touring the US and Europe with its automated dispensing system, Fill-It™. This opportunity will allow scientists to evaluate Fill-It in their laboratories and see the benefits of increased dispensing throughput and improved filling accuracy.

The Fill-It system, which automatically pipettes consistent volumes of cells, media or other liquids into screw-cap vials, as well as decapping and recapping lids, will be available for on-site evaluations in Europe from July 5th- 16th and on the US West coast from July 19th - August 6th. The system will then visit the US East coast from August 16th-September 10th.

Fill-It will be accompanied by TAP's Fill-It Product Manager, Stephen Guy, who spent several years helping to develop the system with some of the world’s leading cell banking experts. Stephen will be on hand to explain how Fill-It’s rapid dispensing enables faster freezing, better cell integrity and reduced cell line development costs. He will also provide his expertise on optimizing the system for other dispensing applications.

Stephen Guy, Fill-It Product Manager at TAP stated: “Many laboratories world-wide have been successfully using the Fill-It system for over two years to dispense a variety of recombinant and non-recombinant cell types for use in cell banking and drug discovery applications. Validation studies demonstrate that Fill-It improves precision of dispensing without compromising cell growth and stability, we are confident it will benefit those labs where accurately filling cryovials is causing a major delay in their work.”
