Healtheuniverse, Inc. has announced that the Company's fat based stem cell technology is moving to clinical trials without the use of human embryonic stem cells.

The Company is preparing to submit an application through an Independent Institutional Review Board to pursue clinical trial for the utilization of fat based stem cells.

Using this approach provides the promise of stem cell medical achievements while avoiding the controversy surrounding destruction of embryos.

Adipose tissue, also known as fat, is an abundant source of stem cells and other regenerative cells that can contribute to the repair and healing of damaged tissue.

Clinical trials will be focused on growing different cell types from adult stem cells utilizing a proprietary process.

Therapies utilizing this process have varied applications for use in plastic, reconstructive, orthopedic, vascular, and cardiac surgery.
