Micro array of Ag-AgCl electrodes for cellular stimulation and sensing
Silver-Silver Chloride is investigated as a fabrication material of planar microelectrodes for sensing and stimulation of excitable cells. A theoretical design method is presented. The platform was tested for different excitable tissue confirming its feasibility.

Automated Method to Determine Infectious Dose (TCID50)
Settings for each cell type and virus can be saved and re-used to assure objective results. Additional information such as cell health, cell cycle status can be determined from the same plates using Nexcelom designed applications. Time course studies can be carried out by scanning plates over several days/weeks allowing for additional information than may be generated by carrying out end-point assays alone.

Novel Gpr39 Agonists: Correlation Of Binding Affinity Using Label-Free Back-Scattering Interferometry With Potency In Functional Assays
We describe the application of back-scattering interferometry (BSI) to the characterization of small molecule ligand binding to human GPR39 (a GPCR targeted for type-2 diabetes therapy) overexpressed in crude membrane fractions in free solution, including how BSI-derived affinity and functional assay-derived potency correlate for compounds of varying scaffolds.

TOXICITY OF SELECTED BIOACTIVATED COMPOUNDS IN PRIMARY RAT HEPATOCYTES CULTURED IN MICROPATTERNED CO-CULTURES
Drug Induced Liver Injury (DILI) modeled in a novel co-culture liver model. Here, we assess the bioactivation and cytotoxicity of acetaminophen (APAP) and other compounds in the 96-well rat MPCC.
