Proteomics and Substrate Based MS Imaging of Xenobiotic Metabolising Enzymes in Ex Vivo Human Skin and a Human Living Skin Equivalent Model
Untargeted proteomics analysis showed that human skin and a commercially available living skin equivalent model exhibit a similar distribution of xenobiotic metabolising enzymes. A new technique, substrate based mass spectrometry imaging (SB-MSI) was developed during this study.
Development and Assessment of Non-Infected and Infected Skin Models Using MALDI-MSI
Infections have detrimental effects on wound healing leading to chronic wound formation. The use of labskin,a living skin model, in combination with mass spectrometry imaging, provides a good model for assessing wound healing factors.
LC-SWATH/MS Metabolomics Platform with Hyphenation of Extraction for the Analysis of Polar and Non-polar Metabolites in Biological Samples
Automated robotic sample preparation with hyphenated dual LC-SWATH/MS analysis for lipids and polar metabolites.
Validation of an Image-Based 3D Natural Killer Cell Mediated Cytotoxicity Assay
Here we describe a novel 3D NK cell mediated cytotoxicity (CMC) assay.
Quantitative Live-Cell Analysis Using Automated Long-Term Imaging
Here we describe a continuous live-cell assay for determining cell proliferation profiles using the BioSpa Automated Live Cell Imaging System, consisting of BioSpa 8 and Cytation 5.
Bioluminescent Kinase Profiling Systems for Characterizing Small Molecule Kinase Inhibitors
In order to profile compounds against a broad panel of kinases, in-house profiling requires rigorous kinase assay development.
Characterizing GPCR Activation Using Automated Live Cell Imaging
Here we describe a live cell imaging based approach to detect GPCR activation using the Lionheart™ FX Automated Live Cell Imager and Gen5™ Microplate Reader and Imager Software.
Pyroptosis Detection via Multiplexing Cell Death and Bioluminescent Caspase-1 Activity Assessments
Researchers developed a convenient method to confirm pyroptosis. Inflammasome activation triggers rapid pyroptosis. Preventing pyroptosis may shift form of cell death
A New Tool for the Automated Sample Preparation of Whole Blood Samples by LC-MS using a Commercial Autosampler
Automated sample preparation reduces the costs per sample and minimizes sample handling errors. Usually expensive and highly specialized pipetting robots are used. However, most of these systems are not designed with a direct interface for LC-MS applications. In addition common pipetting systems are not optimized for smaller scale sample series. Here we present a new tool for liquid handling of whole blood samples and direct sample injection.
Assessment of Oral LISPRO Treatment in Ameliorating Amyloid and Tau Pathology in Transgenic Alzheimer’s Mice Model
Ionic co-crystals of lithium salicylate with organic proline (LISPRO) showed better safety and pharmacokinetic profile of lithium in plasma and brain of wild-type and transgenic Alzheimer mice model compared to lithium salts.
