CYTOO Sponsors the Motility Subgroup at the Biophysical Society Meeting
After the recent launch of the CYTOOplates Motility, specifically designed to study cell migration for screening applications in both oncology and drug discovery, the company has the great pleasure to sponsor the Motility subgroup.
The Biophysical Society’s subgroups allow members to meet and interact within more focused
areas in smaller groups. Subgroups hold scientific symposia and business meetings each year on Saturday preceding the start of the Annual Meeting. The mission of the Motility Subgroup is to understand the basic mechanisms that underlie motility and contractility of biological systems.
CYTOO is delighted to have the opportunity to present the Motility products and their unique characteristics to the subgroup members. To celebrate the first anniversary of the World Cell Race1, CYTOO launched in December the CYTOOplates Motility, the microplate version of the CYTOOchips Motility, a perfect tool for studying cell migration, showing characteristics closer to those found in vivo2.
CYTOO’s Motility products feature adhesive tracks of 4 different widths from 2.5 to 20 μm allowing a wide range of applications including single vs collective cell migration, cell pairing, and in other application areas, such as directional neurite outgrowth assays.
Attendees are invited to visit BPS booth #650 to discover the Motility products, and to discuss their 2D+ application with Alexandra Fuchs, PhD, COO, and Yoran Margaron, PhD, Research Scientist.
