Essen BioScience, a pioneer in new technologies for real-time live-cell imaging and analysis, has released the new edition of its Live-Cell Analysis Handbook. Since its launch in 2017, the Live-Cell Analysis Handbook has served as the first comprehensive reference guide for existing and new live-cell analysis assay solutions, with over 3,000 downloads. The topics covered include cell health, cell viability, cell migration and cell invasion, complete with assay solutions available on the IncuCyte® S3 Live-Cell Analysis System. The new 2nd edition handbook introduces two new chapters on complex 3D cell assays and protein dynamics assays.
“We are very excited about this second edition of our Live-Cell Analysis Handbook. Insights gained from living cells show no signs of slowing down, as evidenced by the over 2,000 peer-reviewed articles on the IncuCyte alone. The two new chapters in our second edition highlight new techniques and protocols that enable live-cell approaches to studying protein dynamics and complex cell models, both of which support the goal of cell biologists everywhere to deliver more physiologically relevant, translatable advances in disease research,” said Kim Wicklund, Ph.D., Head of Product Management, IncuCyte. “This handbook is “living” just like the cells we love to study, and we are committed to ongoing development of new and exciting applications that will continue to support future editions.”
Live-cell analysis accelerates drug discovery research with real-time, physiologically-relevant insight into the pathways that direct health and diseased states. The 2nd edition Live-Cell Analysis Handbook provides the most up-to-date information on a range of live-cell analysis applications and empowers scientists to generate deeper, more meaningful data directly from the culture incubator. “We passionately believe in providing our customers with integrated solutions for their application needs,” added Del Trezise, Ph.D., Head of Applications, IncuCyte, “The handbook is a fantastic resource for both new and experienced live-cell analysts”.
