New Animal Origin Free Enzymes
Read time: Less than a minute
Worthington Biochemical produces hundreds of different enzymes including several key Animal Origin Free (AOF) products.
These new Animal Origin Free Enzymes include AOF Collagenase, recombinant DNase I, RNase T1 and proteases including Neutral Protease (dispase).
Using AOF Enzymes avoids potential BSE/TSE and mammalian viral risks and regulatory issues associated with bovine and other animal sources.
Applications include biopharmaceutical, biomedical, regenerative medicine and bioprocessing such as the isolation of primary and stem cells for autologous transplantation, artificial organ research and the processing of vaccine components.
