Reflect Scientific, Inc. has renewed its commitment to developing and selling products that are significantly more environmentally friendly than current market offerings.
Reflect Scientific is investing internal resources in clean technologies (Cleantech) to address the growing demand for energy conservation and environmental responsibility in the latest generation of cold storage and cooling systems.
"The Company will continue to focus on its very promising liquid nitrogen cooling platform, which is a patented zero emission technology, used in refrigerated commercial transport trucks, computer server room cooling and low temperature freezers for pharmaceutical and biotechnology. Customers in this aggregate $28 billion market have shown interest in embracing the green nature of our products, incorporating this technology and the cost savings that it can provide. Reflect's management believes that this interest is a strong indication of the viability and potential of these products," said Mr. Kim Boyce, CEO of Reflect Scientific.
To accelerate adoption of the Cleantech-based products into the transportation segment, Reflect will be adding distributors for Cryometrix CB-40 trailer refrigeration system, greatly expanding the market reach of this product. With the increasing price for diesel fuel the zero emissions CB-40 is an attractive alternative to diesel engine powered cooling systems currently in use.
"In the coming weeks we will be announcing transitions and additions within our engineering and scientific staff and also our board of directors. These changes are intended to advance market penetration of our current products and accelerate associated technology transfer to the manufacturing floor. We're very excited to quickly move forward with the team," remarked Mr. Tom Tait, VP of Reflect Scientific.
