Titian Software has announced its attendance at the 2011 ESBB Biobanking Conference, 16th - 19th November 2011, Marseille, France.

Edmund Wilson (CEO) and David Booth (Regional Sales Manager) will be on Booth 42 to demonstrate Mosaic, Titian’s renowned modular sample management software, and explore with delegates any specific biobank sample management requirements.

The ESBB Conference is being held back-to-back with the BioSHaRE Annual Meeting 2011. Registration to attend the ESBB conference is now open.

Mosaic sample management software allows compounds and biological samples to be efficiently tracked and monitored within any sample storage and handling system.

Chosen by 13 out of the top 20 bio-pharma companies, Mosaic has been proven to streamline sample management processes in large and small-scale operations, including centralized sample banks or smaller sample stores within a laboratory.

Mosaic minimizes human error in sample preparation and simplifies operations within the lab, whilst improving sample preservation.

The software tracks cryovials, tissue cartridges, slide arrays, microtubes and plates, and implements a chain of custody for the handling of the sample according to the requested order type.

Many sample types are managed simultaneously, with configurable details such as freeze-thaw cycles being recorded against containers, and sample consent parameters being recorded against individual samples.

Order status is closely monitored to track the success or failure of each step in the ordering process, creating a full audit trail of actions for reference.
