TTP Labtech Strengthens Automated Sample Management for Biobanking with Arktic

Read time: Less than a minute

As natural innovators in the development of compound and sample management solutions, TTP LabtechTTP14May-arktic.gif will display its extended portfolio of biobanking and compound storage at IQPC at the Novotel Amsterdam City, Amsterdam from 21-23 May. Providing the ideal opportunity to discuss the recent extension to its sample management range, the arktic will stress the importance of niche biobanking options for smaller labs.

The newly launched arktic -20 ºC/-80 ºC high density, low-cost storage unit holds upto 95,000 0.5 mL samples within a small footprint, making it ideal for space-restricted laboratories. It combines secure and safe sample tracking with automated sample retrieval, removing the loss of samples associated with manual methods. Hand-picking is replaced with pre-sorted, cherry-picked tubes delivered from store within 60 seconds. As a result, users can be confident in the integrity of their samples. arktic was built to offer the same quality and robustness as the well-known comPOUND -20 ºC modular sample storage system. Both systems will be on display at IQPC, along with the mosquito® HV, which provides highly accurate pipetting across the 500 nL to 5 µL volume range.
