Thermo Scientific™ Matrix™ Open Top storage tubes are engineered for ambient to cold storage conditions, accommodating temperatures from ambient to -80°C. These open-top tubes allow repeated piercing while maintaining seal integrity, ideal for small molecules and genomic materials. Available in volumes of 0.5 mL, 0.75 mL, and 1.4 mL, they fit into 96-way ANSI/SLAS racks, ensuring compatibility with automated systems. The tubes feature advanced barcoding options, including 2D barcodes on the bottom, 1D barcodes with human-readable text on the side, and alphanumeric labels, facilitating precise sample identification and tracking.

Additionally, the Thermo Scientific™ Matrix™ Screwtop and Nunc™ Universal ScrewTop Tubes are designed for scalable, automation-friendly processes, suitable for a broad range of biological materials including cells, cell culture by-products, biological fluids and derivatives, tissues, genomic materials, proteins, and small molecules. These tubes are available in volumes ranging from 0.2 mL to 12 mL and can be stored in 24-, 48-, and 96-way ANSI/SLAS racks, as well as cryoboxes. Compatible with multiple barcoding technologies, including 2D barcodes on the bottom, 1D barcodes with human-readable text on the side, and 2D human-readable labels on the bottom, they withstand extreme storage conditions and can safely store frozen samples in vapor phase liquid nitrogen.
