Developing Animal Free and Defined Stem Cell-Based Tools and Processes for Regenerative Medicine
Human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) can renew almost indefinitely and differentiate to any adult cell in the body thus making them ideal materials for developing new cell-based therapies. The efficacy and manufacturability of these therapies critically rely on reagents such as media and surface substrates used during iPSC expansion and differentiation outcomes.
Speaking at Cell & Gene Therapy 2023, Dr. Gabriella Perell and Dr. Xi Lu from Bio-Techne, presented their talk on Biotechne’s portfolio of cGMP and animal-free reagents including iPSC expansion media, vitronectin culture substrates, small molecules, and growth factors. Dr, Perell and Dr. Lu will demonstrate the application of these reagents towards establishing an iPSC to iNK workflow.
During this talk we discuss:
- A portfolio of cGMP and animal-free reagents
- Establishing an iPSC to iNK workflow
