Writer and Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion


Nisha is a scientist, writer and thought leader whose work explores equity, diversity and inclusion through storytelling. As a queer, neurodivergent Indian woman with a PhD in Chemistry, she uses her unique perspective to challenge stereotypes, foster empathy and inspire curiosity. Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, Nisha reframes her lived experiences as strengths, driving her advocacy for underrepresented voices and transformative change. Her journey began with Chemistry World, where she shared her experiences navigating the intersections of identity in science. Through open and impactful conversations, Nisha emphasizes curiosity and understanding over judgment, encouraging others to see difference as an opportunity for progress. She is passionate about inspiring future generations to embrace diversity as a foundation for innovation and a more inclusive world.
