EuroGentest: Reference Materials for Genetic Testing
Poster Jun 15, 2007
The lack of reference materials (RMs) for most genetic tests causes difficulties in validating and developing new assays, and results in tests being run without proper quality controls. EuroGentest, and EU-funded network for Medical Genetics, is addressing this issue by defining the present and future needs for RMs, setting priorities for and supporting the development of new RMs and building an enduring network involving all stakeholders in RM development.
Applications of chemically modified synthetic guide RNA for CRISPR-Cas9 genome editingPoster
Our results indicate that MS modifications are required for experiments with co-electroporation of Cas9 mRNA and synthetic gRNA, yet have no impact on editing efficiency when delivered with lipid-based transfection reagents.READ MORE
Highly Accurate HCV Genotyping by Targeted Next Generation SequencingPoster
The recent fast advancement of next generation sequencing (NGS) technologies allowing for unprecedented speed and accuracy in analyzing viral genomes are opening new ways to further improve diagnostic genotyping of HCV.
Functional Analysis of RAD51B and RAD23B SNPs using Circular Chromosome Conformation Capture (4C) in Human Prostate Cell LinesPoster
The aim of this study is to understand the mechanism behind the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), lying in non-coding regions near or within RAD51B and RAD23B, and prostate cancer risk by analysing their interactions with the whole genome using Circular Chromosome Conformation Capture (4C).READ MORE
