Agilent to Demonstrate Mobile Forensics Laboratory at Criminalistica 2013

Agilent Technologies Inc. has announced that it will demonstrate its mobile measurement laboratory at Criminalistica 2013, which will take place on 14-19 September, in Brasilia.
The company will also host a series of presentations at the event focused on forensics, toxicology, sports doping and criminalistics.
"This conference marks the first public demonstration of our exciting mobile measurement technology, which has become an increasingly valuable tool used in homeland security, public safety and rapid, on-site forensic, industrial and environmental screening and analysis," said Ludovic Debusschere, leader of Agilent's mobile measurement solutions team. "Agilent is now able to bring the full power of a traditional laboratory into the field."
"We are pleased to participate in this important and timely conference," added Tom Gluodenis, Agilent's global marketing manager for forensics and toxicology.
Gluodenis continued, "We look forward to meeting the Brazilian forensics community and providing them with specialized technical assistance as they explore new ways to update their laboratories and national-security infrastructure in preparation for the kick-off of the World Cup in less than a year, followed by the Olympic Games in 2016."
Throughout the six-day conference, a team of Agilent scientists and application specialists will be on site to meet with visitors and showcase the company's full line of forensics, toxicology and mobile measurement instruments and devices.
The mobile laboratory will be on display in the Agilent exposition booths (Nos.18 and 27), along with a variety of products, including the 4500a Portable FTIR, the 4100 ExoScan Series FTIR, and the 5975T LTM GC/MSD system and an assortment of liquid/gas chromatography and mass spectrometry solutions.
