MatriCal, Inc. has introduced the MACCS, an Automated Cell Culture System.

MACCS has been designed to automate the tedious steps involved in HT cell culture and provides a solution for a variety of applications including the uniform supply of cells and proteins for drug discovery research efforts.

Multiple cell lines and products can be processed simultaneously enabling multiple research efforts to be supported in one system. The system offers a modular, expandable design combined with the ability to work with labware like Roboflasks, T-flasks, shaker and spinner flasks, microtiter plates and roller bottles.

According to Company, on-line cell monitoring ensures consistent cell supply everyday! Vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP) sterilization and HEPA filtration ensures a continuously sterile environment. A 6-axis robotic arm can provide high throughput and sophisticated motion control for gentle processing of cell cultures and various consumables.
