Continuing our series on non-CYP-mediated metabolism pathways, we will be discussing another of the most requested enzymes: Sulfotransferases (SULTs). SULTs participate in Phase 2 metabolism of xenobiotics in humans and are characterized by the abundance and broad tissue distribution of the enzymes.
