Dr. Xiaoning Lu profile page

Xiaoning Lu is currently the head of Analytics and Testing with Helaina Inc, where he is responsible for the development of analytical platforms for glycoprotein and food analysis, in addition to supervising analytical method development and quality control and supporting R&D and new product development. Dr. Lu, is an analytical chemist with a Ph.D. from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, pursued medical research at various institutions in the United States, including the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC, and the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. His research primarily focused on utilizing mass-spectrometry-based proteomic tools to study prostate, bladder, and breast cancers. Additionally, he gained significant industry experience with chromatography while working at MilliporeSigma and Restek Corporation, where he contributed to the development and commercialization of various analytical products, resulting in numerous commercial products, publications, and patents.
