Mixing and the Selectivity of Chemical Reactions, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK
Event May 08
To help attendees identify when physical processes (such as mixing and mass transfer) can determine process selectivity and productivity. To introduce the fundamentals of single-phase mixing and how they can interact with reaction chemistry. To demonstrate how lab-scale work can be used more effectively for process development and to give examples of how a combination of physicochemical modelling and focused experimental work can lead to quicker and more confident scale-up.
