ACD/Labs Sells ACD/2D NMR Processor to Harvard

Advanced Chemistry Development, Inc. (ACD/Labs) has announced that the department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University has chosen ACD/2D NMR Processor as their NMR processing package of choice.

ACD/2D NMR Processor will be deployed to all staff, students, and faculty to use on both PCs owned or leased by the department as well as on individual user’s personal machines.

The key person involved in seeing this project to fruition at Harvard’s Dept. of Chemistry and Chemical Biology was head librarian of the Chemistry and Chemical Biology Library, Ms. Marcia Chapin.

Marcia had the daunting task of taking a long list of requested capabilities and features and finding a suitable NMR application to meet her patrons’ needs.

Some of the requested capabilities involved automatic generation of multiplet reports set to a specific journal format, and software stability.
