BioImagene has announced collaboration with HP technologies to bundle its high-content analysis and digital pathology platforms with HP servers.

In the life sciences, drug discoveries and healthcare industries, extracting meaningful information and knowledge from image data is still manual. As two-thirds of the data is in the form of images, management of image data is a mission critical component for successful decision making.

The integration of BioImagene and HP technologies will allow for better management of the huge amounts of image/data generated in discovery, life sciences, and clinical laboratories.

BioImagene products include CellMine™, TissueMine™ and 3i. Bundling of BioImagene technologies with HP servers are designed to offer users a solution for image analysis, image processing, and image management on a proven platform for life sciences, drug discovery, and digital pathology work.

Randy Chen, Project Leader of Research Informatics at Allergan, said “By implementing BioImagene’s Image Management system on HP platforms, we have enabled scientists to access images and research data quickly and easily. The solution from BioImagene and HP is expected to provide powerful hardware and image management expertise to the Image Informatics community and accelerate discovery research even more cost efficiently.”

“We are very pleased to work with HP. This fits our strategy of offering researchers, scientists, and pathologists more integration resulting in better efficiency in their everyday processes. This collaboration provides peace of mind for our customers who can trust two leaders in Biomedical Imaging and Enterprise Server solutions,” said Mohan Uttarwar, CEO of BioImagene.

“We are happy to work with BioImagene as our collaboration will offer customers several integrated solutions to enable pre-clinical and clinical data to be more easily accessible and available,” said Jeffrey Miller, vice president, Health and Life Sciences, HP.
