BioTek Instruments Introduces new Web Site

BioTek Instruments, Inc. has announced the launch of their newly redesigned web site - www.biotek.com. In addition to an enhanced graphical interface with clear-cut navigation, the web site now has improved technical and application resources for life science and drug discovery markets and will soon be available in multiple languages.
New product page features include model comparison charts, image gallery, searchable accessory database and a product configurator quote request tool – each used to assist in the selection of the best microplate technology for a specific application. Visitors can also find local sales and support offices using an enhanced distributor locator tool.
BioTek’s updated Technical Resource database is fully searchable and includes technical and application-specific information to help customers optimize their process, troubleshoot a technique, or gain a deeper understanding of a microplate-based technology.
Topics addressed in this database include integrating new assay platforms, moving from manual to automated systems, proper microplate washing techniques and much more. Additionally, scientific presentations and citations provide real-world examples using BioTek solutions.
When revamping the BioTek web site, international customers were a key focus. “We have an extensive international network of distributors and regional offices, and so it was important to facilitate communication between these partners and their customers,” noted Julie Murray, Marketing Communications Manager at BioTek Instruments. “Shortly, localized versions of the site will be available so that international visitors can access the same information that our English-speaking customers enjoy, but in their native language for improved comprehension.”
The new site is fully integrated with BioTek’s online Customer Resource Center (CRC), where existing customers can access additional product information, track orders, register warranty information and maintain their BioTek instruments.
