ClinTec Founder, CEO & President, Dr Rabinder Buttar who was born in Punjab before relocating to UK, was also recently named Sikh Business Woman of the Year for her successful business leadership. ClinTec established a solid presence in India and is one of the first-movers in the Clinical Research Services arena to enter India in 2002. ClinTec’s long established Bangalore office serves as the regional hub for clinical research activity and offers a full spectrum of clinical services including Regulatory Affairs, Medical Writing, Quality Assurance and Clinical Training.

ClinTec was granted the award under the category of International Trade in recognition of its substantial growth in overseas revenue and commercial success in the last 3 years, achieving an increase in overseas sales in excess of 250% from 2007–2009.

Speaking about the Queen’s Award, ClinTec President, Founder and CEO, Dr Rabinder Buttar, stated: “I am delighted and honoured that the success of ClinTec has been recognised with such a prestigious accolade as the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. I’ve watched our local Indian team grow thanks to the continual hard work of each department and as a result ClinTec India has gone from strength to strength since its incorporation in 2002. We have always recognised the importance of our international opportunities and have been at the forefront of entering the emerging markets of clinical research. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank our clients, many of whom have been working with us for over a decade. Due to the high degree of trust they have in our business and our ability to deliver, they have enabled us to partner with them and grow our business in exact alignment with their evolving needs”.
