With ten distinct conference themes, including compound management, protein crystallography and high-throughput screening, the ELA conference will provide a unique opportunity to discuss current developments and future requirements for the automation of laboratory workflows.

At ELA, TTP LabTech will exhibit its own innovative solutions for laboratory automation, which include the Acumen® high throughput microplate imaging system, mosquito® nanolitre pipettor and LAB2LAB sample transport system. TTP LabTech will also be taking this opportunity to announce the winners of its ‘Win a mosquito®’ and ‘Win an Acumen®’ competitions. Researchers are invited to submit their scientific proposals to enter these competitions, and have until the 22nd of June 2011 to do so. The names of the successful applicants will be announced on the TTP LabTech booth, F1, at 2pm on the final day of the conference, 1st July.

The ELA event will mark a high point in the calendar of European scientific conferences, presenting a unique opportunity to bring academic and industrial developments in the area of lab automation together in one forum.  “Europe has been waiting for a high quality, automation themed, meeting for some time now and we are pleased to be working with Select Biosciences in bringing this event to this region.” commented Russell Wheatcroft, Marketing Manager, TTP LabTech. “We hope that our own competition demonstrates our commitment to nurturing research, by providing the opportunity for successful applicants to use our products to realise their research goals.” he continued.
