Gamlen Tableting has announced a partnership with ATG Scientific Limited. ATG Scientific represents a number of specialist laboratory equipment brands in Europe and the company has been appointed to market the Gamlen Tablet Press, GTP-1.

“We are delighted to be working with ATG Scientific,” said Dr Michael Gamlen, Managing Director, Gamlen Tableting. “ATG has considerable expertise in the research and testing laboratory market and is our ideal partner to represent Gamlen Tableting in Europe."

The GTP-1 is a small, purpose built, bench top computer controlled tablet press that has two modes of operation – a compaction mode (the GTP operates as a tablet press) and a fracture mode where the GTP-1 operates as a hardness tester.

The GTP-1 allows complete control of the compaction process using only small amounts of material and generates measurement of tabletability, compressibility and compactibility by capturing tablet compression and ejection force measurement.
