Honeywell Announces Distribution Agreement with OLS© OMNI Life Science in Europe

Honeywell has announced a distribution agreement with OLS© OMNI Life Science GmbH & Co. KG, based in Hamburg, Germany, for solvents, bioreagents and chromatography products used for laboratory and research and development applications.

As part of the agreement, the research chemicals will be marketed in Honeywell original packaging under the Honeywell Burdick & Jackson™ label, and includes products for laboratory applications in packages up to 45 liters. The products will be distributed to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Turkey.

"Burdick & Jackson is one of the most recognized brands for purity and consistency in the pharmaceutical and analytical spaces," said Joachim Pavel, business manager for Honeywell's Research Chemicals business in Europe. "This agreement, along with recent distribution additions in China, Japan and India, demonstrates Honeywell's overall commitment to expand the availability of the B&J product line to more analytical and production users worldwide."

Solvents, bioreagents and chromatography products for OMNI Life Science will be manufactured primarily at Honeywell's Seelze plant, formerly called Riedel-de Haen AG.
