St. Petersburg, Russia - August 27 – 31, 2007
ASMC07 in St. Petersburg is being prepared by EFMC (European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry) and ChemBridge Corporation with the support of ACS, in the series of events which started with ASCMC04 in Moscow.
The first edition of the symposium was one of the world's chemistry science high points of the year 2004 with 44 distinguished academic and industrial speakers, 200 poster communications, 600 registered participants representing 41 countries, and over 400 invited Russian guest scientists.
The scientific program of the International Symposium on Advances in Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry will encompass:
- 14 plenary lectures, presented by leading scientists from Europe, USA, Canada, Japan and Russia
- 16 invited major talks, presented primarily by highly recognized scientists from the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, as well as from academia
- 10 short oral communications which will be selected from submitted abstracts
- a poster session
The scientific program will be complemented by an attractive cultural program in St. Petersburg.
It will also include a commercial exhibition and a half-day Business Mini-Symposium “Discovery Chemistry Outsourcing Opportunities in Russia”.
