Parker domnick hunter has begun a formal partnership with BioPharma Dynamics, granting the pharmaceutical processing specialist exclusive UK distribution rights to the SciLog sensor product range.

The SciLog range automates liquid processes, using programmable peristaltic pumps that offer enhanced control of factors such as flow rate, fluid volumes and conductivity.

Inbuilt barcoded sensors are pre-calibrated for use, so they can ‘plug and play’ when switched on. The products also contain bar codes, enabling traceable ID and data documentation.

Under the new partnership, BioPharma Dynamics will have exclusive rights to distribute SciLog products to key life sciences buyers such as universities, laboratories, pharmaceutical companies, R&D facilities and startups. This will extend the company’s offerings in fluid transfer and pumping applications for the biotech, healthcare and pharma markets.

Commenting on the partnership, Dr Nick Hutchinson, market development manager for Parker domnick hunter said: “BioPharma Dynamics has a strong reputation for its processing capabilities and customer service, making the company a natural partner for our SciLog products. Working together will both help us to meet increased UK demand for the range and help life sciences buyers solve their processing challenges through automation technologies.”
