Premier Research Names Susan Stansfield, PhD Executive VP, Clinical Development

Premier Research Group has announced the appointment of Susan C. Stansfield, PhD to the position of Executive Vice President, Clinical Development.

In this position, Dr. Stansfield will have global responsibility for leading and developing the company’s clinical trial management services provided to the biopharmaceutical industry.

“Sue’s deep industry knowledge and proven leadership skills will be pivotal in enhancing the value our clinical development organization provides to our customers,” commented Dr. Ludo Reynders, Chief Executive Officer.

Sue’s exceptional skills and experience in the areas of program and project management will be invaluable in providing superior and appropriate services to our customers in today’s rapidly changing drug development world.”

Dr. Stansfield comes to Premier Research with an exceptional track record of more than 25 years in the pharmaceutical and contract research industries.

Dr. Stansfield worked at three of the leading clinical service organizations (PRA, PPD and Quintiles) taking increasingly responsible leadership roles in project management and clinical operations.

This included responsibility for 2,000 staff located in 50 countries. Dr. Stansfield holds a Doctorate in Neuropharmacology from Reading University in the UK and a Bachelor in Science from Nottingham University.
