The importance of HT-ADME in drug discovery

The inaugural meeting of the Boston Society High-Throughput Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism and Excretion (HT-ADME) Conference was held in Cambridge, MA (USA). The theme was ‘The Importance of HT-ADME in Drug Discovery’ and the organizers of the conference stressed the importance of incorporating audience participation and discussion in the field. The speakers provided broad coverage of HT-ADME within the drug discovery arena, while remembering that the overall goal in drug discovery is identifying potential drug candidates to move forward into development.
