A Novel 10 Layer Flask For use in the SelecT Automated Cell Culture System

The new Corning HYPERFlask vessel is designed and optimized to increase cell yield using the SelecT Automated Cell Culture System. Importantly, cell densities per unit growth area are similar to traditional single vessels resulting in approximately ten times the cell yield as traditional cell culture vessels in the same footprint. The cells grown in the HYPERFlask perform exceptionally well in cell based assays.
We utilized paired synthetic crRNAs coupled with our synthetic tracrRNA in cells transduced with lentiviral Cas9 to perform a functional knockout on hsa-miR-221. This three-part system (crRNA, tracrRNA and Cas9) has demonstrated efficient gene editing when used with only one guide RNA, but the goal was to use two crRNAs to remove the entire stem-loop.READ MORE
