A Fragment Screening Library for X-ray Crystallography

Read time: Less than a minute

The library contains a diverse set 352 small molecule compounds with mean molecular weight of 155 Da. The chemical compound types (typically, simple decorated rings) are suitable for efficiently probing protein sites to determine binding substructures for lead discovery. The compounds in the library are pre-plated so as to provide 100uL of each compound at 200mM concentration. All compounds have been tested to ensure adequate solubility in DMSO.

To assist in the experimental design and interpretation of fragment screening experiments using mixtures the compounds are arranged in shape-diverse groups and 3D structure models of all compounds are provided.
