Artel Launches Online Series of Pipetting Technique Training Videos

A new addition to the company’s suite of pipetting technique training tools, the series of 10 two-minute videos is designed to enable labs to increase the quality and efficiency of their liquid handling operations through enhanced pipette operator competence.
Improper pipetting technique leads to liquid delivery errors and faulty data, which hamper the efficiency and productivity of laboratory operations. To address this challenge and better utilize staff assets, laboratories are increasingly turning to personnel training.
Artel’s series of training videos fits with the company’s broader initiative to provide tools and resources to help laboratories improve liquid handling quality assurance and enhance data quality.
Each episode in the series will cover one fundamental of pipetting technique, such as plunger pressure and speed, selection of proper pipetting mode and pipette tips, and the need to work at temperature equilibrium. The videos address 10 important issues that should be taken into consideration to ensure accurate liquid delivery.
