Porvair Sciences will present its complete range of automation friendly microplates and equipment at European Lab Automation 2012 in Hamburg, Germany in partnership with long-term collaborator, KBiosystems.

Visitors to the Porvair / KBio stand at ELA 2012 will be able to see the Universal Robotic Manifold plus a growing range of high quality reagent reservoirs.

The Universal Robotic Manifold is designed to be easily assembled and disassembled by robotic manipulators, thus enabling productive automation of SPE or DNA clean-up procedures.

Able to accommodate collection plates from 14mm - 44mm in height and adaptable for working with short, medium and long skirts and drip directors, the Universal Robotic Manifold can operate with many different brands of filter plate and collection trays.

Supplied with an integral vacuum gauge, the Manifold provides complete control of vacuum pressure ensuring plates can be processed with high reproducibility.

Combining uncompromising high quality with an affordable price - Porvair Sciences will display its extensive range of deep well, shallow well, storage, assay, SPE, protein precipitation and filtration microplates precisely manufactured to comply with ANSI/SBS dimensions ensuring complete compatibility with all automated sample handling systems, microplate readers and washers.

Also on display will be the Ultravap RC - Porvair's all new robot-compatible nitrogen blow down station. For many years, Porvair Sciences has led the field in nitrogen blow down evaporation.

This new version of Porvair's most popular sample concentrator makes it even easier to integrate an automatic dry down step into users automated liquid handling protocol.
