Centeo Biosciences Ltd. launches the TG200 Hotel system at the ACA Meeting in Chicago on July 24. The TG200 Hotel System is the next generation of the TG40 System launched in 2009.
The TG40 System was the first laboratory system designed specifically to enable optimization and screening temperatures in a portable, hand-held device. The initial market for the TG40 System was protein crystallization and stability testing.
The TG40 System enables: rapid screening of experimental temperature conditions from 4ºC to 60ºC; and portable temperature control maintains set temperature during analysis. The TG40 System enables real- time temperature monitoring during optimization. This new feature in the TG40 Control Software reports that the set temperatures were maintained during the experiment.
The real-time monitoring enables plotting of the temperatures of each row for a visual display of temperatures during the experiment. During the experiment the temperatures can be ramped up and down as needed to optimize the crystallization results.
Now, with the introduction of the TG200 Hotel System it is finally possible to manage a series of experiments (up to 5 at a time) running concurrently in TG40 Microplate systems. According to Dr. Gabriela Juarez-Martinez, CEO of Centeo Biosciences, “the TG200 Hotel System represents a major step forward in providing a portable temperature control system that meets the needs of researchers using temperatures as a parameter in their research”.
The TG200 System provides a convenient hotel system enabling control of up to five (5) TG40 Microplates simultaneously from a single PC. The TG200 Hotel System enables concurrent multi-user experiments with independent temperature programs for each TG40 Microplate.
The TG200 Hotel System enables individual control of up to five (5) TG40 Microplates from a single PC interface. Each TG40 Microplate provides temperature control for optimization and screening of crystallization temperatures in a portable, hand-held device.
