Applications – T-GRID System Temperature Screening
While it is common to screen crystallization conditions at 20°C and at 4°C, these are not always the optimal temperatures for a particular protein to crystallize. And many protein crystallizations are performed at other temperatures for this reason. Here are the results of a recent set of experiments using the T-GRID System to screen for the optimal temperature conditions. While some small crystals formed at other temperature conditions, the largest crystals formed at 16°C.
