ChromSolutions Ltd., has announced the availability of the Schmidlin Mini lab Ultra High Purity Nitrogen Gas Generator in the UK and Ireland .This mini generation system uses the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technique.

The Company claims that the result is a stream of the highest purity N2 gas 99.999% purity. This makes it ideal for applications including GC carrier gas, make up gas and most other chromatography and spectroscopy applications that require Nitrogen.

Another application of this mini gas generator is in Solid Phase Extraction where a clean supply of the  high purity gas is required to process high numbers of samples particularly 96 well plates. This a very small and compact unit with on board air compressors and only requires electrical power.
